| A Shed as Resources for Birds Nests |
Wild animals will come to city.
How will they make their homes without a natural environment?
We drove them out, and now we must welcome them back.
We should prepare their homes, their environment, and their ecosystem.
Wild birds skillfully make their nests from branches, twigs, grasses, leaves and fur.
Strong, solid parts become the supports, and weaker, soft parts become a blanket.
They use materials from the surrounding environment that fit to their bodies.
As long as they have resources, they make their nests wherever its safe–on trees, chimneys or antennas.
Humans also make houses for birds―but are they comfortable for them to live in?
We cannot understand how they feel.
We make their houses look like human houses only because that is what we know.
The birds need to make their own homes.
Let us provide the resources for birds to make their own homes.
Let us make space for them in the city so that we can live together!

野生動物が都市にやってくる
彼らは都市でどうやって巣をつくるのだろうか
野生の生態系なしに
人間は彼らを追い出した
人間は彼らを受け入れる
受け入れるために何を準備すべきだろうか
彼らの住まい？彼らの環境？彼らの生態系？
野生の鳥は、木の枝、小枝、干し草、落ち葉、動物の毛を使って器用に巣をつくる。固くて丈夫な部分は支えとなり、柔らかくて弱い部分はブランケットとなる
彼らは環境に埋め込まれた様々なモノを自らの身体にフィットする資源として利用するのだ
資源さえあれば、木や煙突、アンテナの上のように安全な場所ならどこでも巣を作れるのだ
人間は彼らのための住まい（巣箱）をつくる
それは彼らにとって住みやすいものなのか？それとも住みにくいものなのか？
彼らの本当の気持ちはわからない
巣箱が人間の家のかたちをしているのは人間の視点を代弁しているだけ
彼らの住まいは彼らにつくってもらわないと
私たちは彼らの住まいのための資源を与えよう
都市に彼らの場所を明け渡そう
彼らと共存するために
